Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't find it in recent posts. Is the current forum still fit for purpose? It may be a bit old-fashioned but it does the job for me as a user. If this is a general view, it would seem simpler if we could find volunteers to take over from Mike Eacott and John Howell, plus some funding to keep the domain name and hosting going. I would be willing to contribute to funding the forum. It has value and we might well find that a few voluntary donations cover the domain name and funding costs without having to charge all registered users.
