I think cathcams offer is externally generous and would personally fully support it (whether option 1 2 or 3 is taken).

I think he also emphasises my concern with anonymity - even a US court could demand disclosure of names and addresses without the need to use the NSA. As a poster I have no idea what would constitute an offence (such as, but not limited, to libel) and so would be unwilling to post anything other than superficial platitudes. I cannot, for example, see that an employee would post the terms of any current redundancy program or any changes (s)he has been told about to the pension plans (issues that may become very important after the High Court case). The sharing of such useful information would cease (I might refer to the case of the employee who made certain revelations during the 2009 Pensions Consultation and was fired).

However, I also see the onerous position that anonymity puts an Administrator in - Catch-22. I would not want to be an Admin under those circumstances either.

PS - Option 3? I hear you ask - would be where each message is screened by the Admin before it is allowed to appear on the Forum (which is what the BBC do) - but that would (especially at times of great activity) be very labour intensive.

Option 4 - Use a site in Russia or China where they don't bother about these things as much - seems to be more free-speech there than in the West these days (I'm only kidding....or am I ?)
