OK.

The official Email is out regarding freezing of the AMIPP Forum from end of March 2014.

So there is a little time, however a point to not is: People will continue to be able to read the content of the forum and the website (while payment for the domain name registration and the hosting service continues).

1) what is the current expiry of domain AND hosting services

2) given info from 1) is going to basically be the drop by date for not losing everything the website has.

So this is what I see:

Regardless of any forthcoming new alternatives a frozen pure HTML web abstract of the current AMIPP website needs to be preserved.

Now Web Archive ( http://web.archive.org/web/20130726033136/http://www.amipp.org.uk/ ) does have an image back in March 2013 but how and when they update their snapshots I don't know. I've just forced a snapshot of the home page but I've not idea if their crawler will now refresh all content linked off the home page??

So it may be prudent for us to figure out how we get a web archive snapshot of the AMIPP website and forum as soon as possible after the freeze date and before current hosting etc. expires.
