That is what I was thinking - that "hybrid" deferred is not the same as deferred and it is this that IBM claims allows them to not increase the pension. This may be something that, if you group together, you can challenge via the courts (or perhaps more cheaply refer it to the Ombudsman).
It seems to me that 60 is the retirement age that IBM are promoting - you get the "statutory" underpin and no ERDF - is this age discrimination ?
