Complaints described

There is now a complaints section on this website, although there was not when some of these messages were sent.

Much of the website, and in particular Aims/Strategy is devoted to the background to complaints. The Mike Cawley complaint is with the Ombudsman and is very roughly speaking an appeal to IBM's conscience. There is no softcopy text version but OPAS will supply a paper copy. The Dave Mitchell complaint is centrally about the legality of what the trust did. (It is complex and we should be grateful to Dave and others who put it together). The Alan Murphy complaint is that the trustees supplied too little information regarding their intentions. The Brian Marks complaint is centrally about misdirection - the trustees having a wrong principle to their actions. Other complaints have been voiced in messages but their status is not known. In particular, complaints about capping, non-pensionable pay, treatment of AVCs and mis-selling of the C-plan are not covered by the four complaints above.
