IBM says that "it" - rather than the individual employee - is the Equitable member so IBM got one vote in the recent rescue proposal.
So how come it depends when the *individual* joined the IBM AVC scheme whether you get GAR (or the post-vote equivalent) benefit?
Surely if IBM signed up with Equitable before GARs were withdrawn all IBM employees should get a GAR or 16% uplift.
Or are we "individuals" sometimes and not others?
