For your information, the IBM Intranet UK HR site contains
the following statement from the M-Plan Section:
"The scheme has a two tiered contribution structure.
IBM will contribute 6 % or 8 % of an employee's pensionable
salary on a monthly basis. The higher percentage will apply
to employees who are aged 35 and above. The two tiered structure has been designed to provide a competitive pension for all, recognising that the
level of pension funding required increases with age.
The employee contribution rate is 3% at this time for all
employees irrespective of age."
From the information seen so far I haven't seen much evidence of
IBM contributing this, only the C-plan fund.
