Liz is a very important person in this process. It was entirely her idea that the three action groups met with the board - which the board of EL immediately agreed to. Without that there would have been virtually no hope of a compromise deal. She has also discussed with Sir Gordon Downey how he might provide even more of a focus for the need for a completely independent enquiry into the awful mess.
