This append is only of interest to active members, in particular AVC A or T plan holders.
My partner happens to have invested in an Equitable AVC, independently of
IBM.
This week Equitable has written with details of:
1. Their upcoming AGM
2. The ballot for new directors
The candidates offering themselves for election represent (naturally) a range of views, pro GAR,anit GAR etc.
The outcome of the election will have a huge influence on where EL goes in
the future and with it
lots of our money.
Does anyone know how active mmembers of C+A/T get to vote and influence what their pensions are going to look like?
For active members this is a very much bigger issue than the C Plan issue,
since as far as I can see, nobody has had a penny less than that
which IBM
promised on C Plan, while the A/T folks are in the ditch.
