Well we all thought the Trustees were there to look after our interest. It
seems that the only people that can grant us a pension increase is not the
Trustees but the IBM UK Board of Directors. So really all the trsustees do is
manage the fund it seems the board decides What, where the money goes or even
who gets it. It doesn't seem as if our elected trustees have much if any say in
the matter.
In hindsite we were barmy to listen to all the hype given to us
in the past. WE FULLY TRUSTED IBM - then along came a stranger to head up the
Corporation and for benefits its been down hill ever since.
