European Law

On one occasion when Mike Armstrong (Chairman, IBM World Trade Corporation) was hosting my Customer he said the only thing he would change, if he had his career over again, was to be an Employee of IBM Netherlands. He explained Dutch employees had the most generous retirement benefits of all European employees. Can anyone answer, are we solely IBM UK retirees or in any way can we be considered IBM EMEA retirees. Ergo, do we warrant similar treatment of the 'most favoured European retirees'.
I don't know under what circumstances one can appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, but perhaps there is a bright legal mind somewhere, amongst our number, who can reason whether we have a claim in Europe.
