Could you point me to more information about the UK Provident situation. A quick search on the Web hasn't turned up any references. When did they go bust? What did IBM do about that situation? Did members lose out?

Also, you say the problems with Equitable Life have been known for years. Can you point to evidence of this, something that would demonstrate negligence on behalf of any fund managers investing with Equitable? I'd like more background to this.
