I would certainly support exploratory discussion between the current & future pensioners and Jim Lamb for IBM.
This infers that there is a recognised body representing the pensioners (current and future). Any ideas who that might be?
Personally, The only reason I am concerned at IBM taking C Plan money to fund the M Plan, is that the pension increases are discretionary, and following IBM's WW failure to maintain its business ethics and employee relations. I no longer trust IBM.

If the increase could become a right rather than discretionary, then how IBM Executives service that responsibility is up to IBM.
ie if the C Plan fund is denuded to the point that it cannot support any more increases, then IBM Corporation must accept that it is responsible to fund any shortfalls.
Problem is. How does IBM regain our trust?
