The groth assumptions that were used a few years ago in IBM UK to determine the transfer value of our pensions certainly appeared to be very high and unrealistic.
This resulted in a very low transfer values for retirees, but, it would appear, increased vapor profits. This would have flowed through to larger bonuses for execs.
Lets hope the SEC "sorts them out"!!
