I am sure that what you say is true. But your investment decisions would be a whole lot easier if IBM had paid its promised share (that is, had not taken a decade-long "pension holiday") and had not used a temporary "surplus" (aka reserve) to fund its payments to the M plan.
What steps are being taken to demand that IBM makes good the deficit which was largely caused by IBM not making the promised payments?
I would have thought a formal motion by an MED (even though it will be defeated) demanding such restitution would put an important marker down.
Has this been done?
