I received a postcard from my MP (name registered with Alan) stating that he had received my letter. I also got a nice note from OPAS, to whom I had written before seeing the note here. They sent a copy of Mike Cawley's original complaint (which is very nicely worded) and which covers all I want to say. They made the point that new complainers cannot be 'added' to the original, which is before the Ombudsman, but that complaints with 'new' facts could be treated as new complaints.
As to writing to the trustees, well, I open-doored to John Akers in 1990, and he bounced it back to the organisation I was complaining about. After being threatened with dismissal 3 years later if I did not accept a 'voluntary' package (some 4 months after my 25 year celebration!) I feel somewhat cynical about complaining to people actively involved in the company...
