I hope to publish some numbers/statistics on Sunday or Monday.

To my knowledge, the number of MPs contacted so far is 17. The response varies from zero to some very helpful replies. Some letters from MPs are already published on the website. I hope to publish one or two more. Please let me know if you have already contacted you MP, but have not informed me.

I don't know how many people have contacted OPAS, but on 27th September it was 35 people.

The number who have made formal complaints to the IBM Trustees is only known to IBM and the Trustees.

I am very happy to collect lists and to publish these on the website, so long as people's annonymity is protected where appropriate.

You are right, the more who write, the more likely the recipients are to respond - be they Trustees or MPs.

At the moment we are requesting only those who have 'new' concerns or complaints should write to OPAS. The initial set of complaints is now with the Ombusdman who has now started formal discussions with IBM. There is therefore no need to write to OPAS if your concerns have already been covered.
