I have no doubt that you are correct about the scope for, and reality of, IBM attempting to infiltrate this community. It can only be countered by AMIPP accountability to the Membership, which means that the self proclaimed "Officers" must be elected by the Membership as a whole, and there must be transparency, constant vigilance and decisive action when a suspect is identified. There is too much at stake for too many to risk placing their trust in an organisation which ignores warnings and all calls for reform.
