Bang on Nigel. You may not know but in 94 IBM was shortlisted for the Revenue outsourcing - lost out to EDS, but at least they got to the final two. This time? I can't find any trace of them playing any part at all. Did they bid?
But taken as a whole it is a sorry outcome for any company which wants to survive and therefore must set out to grow. As you infer there has to be a fundamental reason why they are being so unsuccessful.
Maybe they'll call upon old talent for a last ditch effort somewhere ... Last Charge of the Calcutta Light Horse!
