Forgive this but I have to ask. Has any UK Government department actually awarded a Company you were connected with business or paid you since you exited IBM? Failing that are you in whatever form bidding?
IBM is a large company so forgive this also. Whilst I do not know it, did you ever consult to IBM since departing as an employee - directly or through a 3rd party.
Regardless, I applaud your efforts via your innovative software company. The future of the UK lies in hands such as yours. Men of talent and frankly Men who risk all. Few can understand what that means. You are a different breed to IBM, which IBM has not and will never understand. I've probably gone too far for my position.
