-->I believe the last IBM UK win of any size in the Central Government marketplace was RAF LITS in 1992.

Dangerous Ground, Nigel. LITS was an unmitigated disaster. The PD fell on his sword. It cost IBM a bundle - even more when real costings were used. A small group of smart arses misled IBM. Question is were they just stupid or worse.

Don't be too hard upon the youth of today. They are working their butts off for surprisingly little compared to relative salaries in the past. There has been a feeling amongst new hires that the "old blue relics" as they call them are overpaid and do not contribute much. LITS as an example didn't help much.

Can't talk about the portfolio today apart from what has already been reported for obvious reasons. Government Knowledge Network was a key win.

Believe you me Quality Assurance means something in IBM today. Still it must have been great to take off when you felt like it and fly at any level in any direction as fancy took you in those days. You would hate it now, but it does help to prevent disasters.
