This Guardian article on 20 Sept points to more than EMC enjoying this greedy scam, and suggests UK courts have no recourse against offending parent companies that are sited overseas.
Will IBM Corporation be tempted and so avoid the deficit problems its contribution holidays over the years, including 2002, have helped to create to the potential detriment of C/N Members?
