Better news than if it went the other way, but everyone knew it was going to be appealed whichever way it went. (Would it have been reported here so quickly if it had gone the other way, I wonder?) The background can be found in earlier issues of the weekly newsletter from our US friends.
It is premature to expect redress. Remember this is the US, where legal decisions get escalated until they are political, and judges are political appointees. Through the influence of corporations on politicians, the outcome usually reinforces corporate privilege. (eg Microsoft found massively guilty, eventually gets away with a slap.)
