You didn't say that ...... and even if you had it still isn't a full description of what a GAR is and was.

If you look at the full list of Equitable Life Pension Funds you will see that 20 are listed through the link below. The 1 year performance of the 20 funds have only 4 out of 20 that are worth more at the end of the year than at the beginning. The others are down by up to 22.8%. If your statement was correct every fund would be up by at least 3.5% Do you still think your statement was complete and accurate?
Also what happened to your advice about 100%/90% guarantees - are you saying that was correct as well?
I suggest you post when you know what you're talking about.
