I don't know enough specifics on this topic to judge correctness/incorrectness of the messages but there are a couple of general points:
a) Incorrectness is not one of the reasons for the Webmaster censoring this forum. (See the link to Notes at the top of the messages page.) Messages are not peer-reviewed before publication, as most of the rest of this website is. The oft-repeated rule is not to act on anything you read on the site without checking it out for yourself, and to treat messages with extra care.
b) Active scheme members have ongoing decisions to make about AVCs. Our trust has some responsibility for whether these are well informed decisions because some aspects are specific to the trust.
