The numbers are not a secret and I would really like to provide them to people who visit the web site. However it will be no surprise that once IBM sees the numbers it will contrive to use them to distort reality (I used to be a manager there and I won't forget ... ever).
But don't let this inhibit you from making other C-plan members informed. Many are not "online", particularly the older retirees and they are the ones who are losing out the most from the measly increases in pension and fund depletion.
My feelings are that there is an arrogant view, or total indifference, from the top IBM management of:
"you pensioners are old, grey, feeble, out of touch, and a drain on the funds, so we are going to screw your pension benefits right down".
Respect for the individual? I think not.
