I hope they do. I have just taken my personal pension out of Equitable at a loss of 20% value of the fund. It amazes me that a governent that promotes the idea that we should all contribute to our future security can live with this situation.
20% penalty if you have the nerve to transfer your investment to someone you can trust, 10% if you have the audacity to take your pension.
I thought that was why I had saved all of this money, so I could take it out and use it one day. Just imagine if your money was in the bank and you decided to take it out and were confronted with the same situation!
