: : IBM UK Pensions now have an internet site accessible from outside
: : the company firewall.

: The news that J. B. Morgans has resigned the chair of the Pensions Trust, and J Lamb has been appointed to the chair is very disturbing.
: In the current environment of vast pensions problems, it seems to me to be very undemocratic to elect a new chairman, and not give the members a choice, suggesting company control.
: After all, it is the members who not only believed that the were contributing to their pension by their work and loyalty, but also by their 4% contribution from salary.
: Mr Lamb undoubtedly enjoys the benefits of the E-Plan, of which we hear very little, doubtless though, he will enjoy riches far in excess of the average pensioner, past or present. Mr Lamb was also involved in the 1996/7 Trust Deeds changes, as I read those changes, solely for the benefit of the company.
: Perhaps readers of this board could quell my thoughts and assure me that the Pensioners present and future will always get a square deal.

I see from the Company web site for pensions, that there is a blatant omission of the E-Plan. Is there anyone out there who can give me the details of this plan, and inform me if they enjoy the limitations of pre 1996 C Plan retirees.
