Election Statement
It is my view that:
-
Senior
executives of "new" IBM have
instituted a program of financial engineering and increased the divide
between them and the much less well off loyal past and present employees.

The
company-appointed Trustee
directors could have done more to protect us, the members, from this program.
If elected, I will
within the remit and powers allocated to me:

Be a watchdog for the
above and other issues of concern.

Seek to reverse
policies relevant to pension matters that disregard the needs of employees.
-
Act fairly on behalf
of beneficiaries to preserve the value of pensions in payment and slow the
degradation.
